Photo Retake Day will be held today during PER 1 & 2.


If you did not have your photo taken on Photo Day in September, please ensure that you go to the gym stage to have your photo taken on Tuesday, October 17th. 



Did you know…. That hunger sets in long before it's time for lunch, but because it's not convenient to eat properly,

many people who have not eaten breakfast snack on foods that are high in fat and sugar.

Put Crunchy granola, creamy yogurt, and fresh fruit together and what do you have?

 There will be an important Safe School Team meeting this Wednesday at 2:20 in room 130.




All outstanding paperwork, online registration, and payments are due by Friday, October 20th.

These outstanding items need to be completed by Friday to ensure your place on the Ski club roster.

For the month of October the pilgrimage committee will be reflecting on the work we've done in Las Pajasfor the past 15 years!



Every Thursday in October you can wear any old pilgrimage shirts you have to celebrate all we've done!



How is your Religious Education Influencing your Life?

 Fireside Catholic Publishing is offering a $1000 scholarship to five students.

Students are required to write a 750 word essay on how their religious education is influencing their life.

If interested please see Mrs. Rome-Holloway and the Religious Education board in the north hallway for further information.




The Halloween Dance is on Thursday Oct. 26 in the Large Gym from 6:00-9:30pm. Doors close at 7:00pm.

Guest sign-in contracts can be picked up in the main office. Contracts are due to Mrs. Sampson in the main office by Friday, Oct. 20. Guest fee must be paid at time of contract submission.

Tickets can be picked up on lunches from Oct. 23-Oct. 26 at Student Council table during lunches.



Those boys and girls interested in joining this year's competitive robotics team are asked to come to room 233 during your respective

lunch periods.

This will be the last opportunity to sign up for the team this year.




Remembrance Day is fast approaching all cadets (air and army) are asked to sign up outside room 219 to participate in the upcoming assembly.

All Vimy travellers are asked to meet with Ms Mercuri Thursday after school in room 219 for a 30 min planning session.

Bring trip pictures and ideas.



Attention students on the Pilgrimage committee whom are assisting Mr. Gambale

with the elementary school visits, please see Mr. Gambale today so we can

organize the visits this week.

As we have reached our midway goal of 750 cards we will be having a pep rally this Friday, October 20.

There will be food trucks in the parking lot, so remember to bring cash.

It will also be a spirit wear day with uniform bottoms.

And a reminder that we will be running on an altered schedule, all classes being 45 minutes.




If you are interested in joining the wrestling team this year, please meet on Thursday, October 19th in Room

109 after school.

Practices will start October 24th and will be on Tuesday's, Wednesday's, and Thursday's every week.
